I had some issues with WAMPserver. I backup all my files and then deleted all the files on wamp. I uninstalled and reinstalled wampserver then I reinstalled WP when I put the install.php file in the browser the page comes up asking the name of the website; I type in the name of the website, the username area is filled with user already exist with no options to change, I type in my email address and click install. An error appears with user field needs user. How can I completely uninstall WP or reinstall WP? I tried this with version 3.7.1 and version 3.8

  • Open phpMyAdmin and delete the tables in your WordPress database. That will allow you to do a fresh install.

    Hi Clayton,

Thank you for the response. I already tried that, this is my first reaction. I figured out the problem, the wamp server files need to be deleted after uninstalling. These files hold user information
