Reinstall XAMPP

  • Hello.

    Please help me in this,

    I wanted to reinstall the XAMPP to another folder, so

    I copied the HTDOCs , and reinstall the XAMPP to new location.

    I again copied the backed up folder, to new XAMPP.

    I thought it should copy my SQL file also.

    When I open localhost/wordprss its saying no database connection.

    Please help me, Did I lost my wordpress website? I am so worried, because I almost done with work.

  • Why are you using XAMPP ? Used WAMP, easy to use

    Steps:

    Download the standard Moodle install package you wish to use.
    Download the latest version of XAMPP from Apachefriends.org.
    Install XAMPP.
    Start XAMPP, which will start Apache and MySQL.
    Confirm webserver is operating with your browser.
    Unzip Moodle into the htdocs folder.
