    Ok will be clearer sorry.

My problems now (no plugins activated, everything done to the server as asked):

    – Quick edit
When clicking a post to quick edit

    https://reideiredale.com/wp-admin/edit.php will turn into
    https://reideiredale.com/wp-admin/edit.php#

    and nothing will eventuate.

-This also happens on custom fields.

    – When I use the image uploader it directs to a seperate page.

Ok, earlier it seems like you mentioned that this happened because you deactivated your plugins.

I need to know for sure if this happened because you deactivated your plugins, or if it’s been happening all along.

Yeah the plugins haven’t effected anything.

I have made my theme offline then brought it in then I couldn’t do the quick edits for my page templates or do custom permalink stuff because the dashbaord won’t respond.

Ok, so the problem started when you activated your custom theme?

I’ve had the problem with the quick edits, custom fields etc. for months when I had upgraded to 3.0. And I had changed to the multisite and that may have muddled up the phpmyadmin.

I don’t know anything about .htaccess or myphpadmin. And my installs have been very carefully done. Thanks for your help as I feel I’m running you in circles.

Try adding define('CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS', false); to your wp-config.php file just below the define('DB_HOST' line.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_option() in /home/reideire/public_html/wp-admin/admin.php on line 22

    Thought?
