reinstalled WP – comments appear randomly or not at all

  • Hi all –

    I had to wipe WP from server and reinstall completely, using Fantastico.

    Original version was completely updated before uninstall.
    DB was backed up as a mysql file.

    Reinstall was done, and the db was rebuilt using the mysql file.

    All the posts went in perfectly, but the 57,000 comments are appearing randomly or not at all.

    Meaning: some posts have the correct number of comments (usually in the hundreds) and some have 1, 2 or no comments when they should have a few hundred.

    Any suggestions on how to fix?
