• I’m fairly new to this. My host installed WordPress for me but since then I’ve installed themes and plugins with no trouble. Now it’s time to update to 2.1.2 and I’m pretty much lost. The situation is complicated by the fact that my blog is subsumed under my wife’s blog.

I think the update for my wife’s blog would simply go under herblog/cpanel/filemanager/public_html.

My blog is either at herblog/cpanel/filemanager/public_html/myblog or at herblog/cpanel/filemanager/public_html/myblog/wordpress.

    So, here’s my question.

When I go to update – after I save what I need to save – do I just wipeout everything from the public_html level on and then reinstall my wife’s 2.1.2 from there and then add in a directory named (myblog) and reinstall my 2.1.2 there? Or is there something else that I need to do?

    Thanks,

    Ted
