Reject button not showing when revisiting website

    We have the reject button going to google.com if pressed…when re-visiting the website, the cookie bar does not reappear even though “reload after reject button click” is selected.

    Any idea?

    Hi @cultivatecreativeagency,

    The reload after the reject button option is to refresh the page when it is clicked and won’t be much use if you have set the reject button to redirect to an external URL. This won’t help you display the banner again because both accept and reject are saved in the user’s browser under cookies named ‘viewed_cookie_policy’ with YES or NO values.

    You can enable the revisit consent option to display minimized widget to revisit the banner if needed. Go to GDPR Cookie Consent menu > Settings > Customise Cookie Bar > Revisit consent > and enable it.

    There is no way just to have it appear when “reject” is pressed? it is essential we get our visitors to see the notice upon reentry if they press “reject”. Is there a way with any code or customization to make this happen?
