Rel Nofollow – where did it come from?

    I have a weird issue I think. At some point this “Rel Nofollow” appeared on the side editor of my posts. I figured it was part of a new WordPress update or maybe the classic editor. It was fine, because I could check the box and it allowed follow links on that particular post. But now, no matter how many times I check it and remove the “nofollow” in text view, it brings it back and unchecks the box. I don’t know where it came from or how to turn it off. I would prefer to manage my links.

    No, the box is not part of WordPress. I think it comes from a plugin you are using. If you don’t know which plugin it could be, deactivate all of them and then activate them individually until the box is visible again.
