Related 'max_input_vars' changes to htaccess crashing site

    I apologize for doubling up o this but since I haven’t heard anything back from the email I sent Saturday I thought maybe I should drop the issue here to help expedite things…

    This rose it’s inconvenient head again in my environment.
    Important Note:
    You have the CSV Importer installed. Due to a new directive added to PHP 5.3.9 called ‘max_input_vars’, which restricts maximum array sizes to 1000 by default, you may need to update your ‘php.ini’ & ‘.htaccess’ files to allow for larger imports (Your current ‘max_input_vars’ value is 1000). View instructions on making updates.

    I’m not sure why it’s asking me to make changes again, and I was successful making the changes the first time. This time however when I make those changes to the files it crashes my site.
