Related Post added ~500ms to TTFB

  • Hi,

    We installed Related Post on a client’s site today, and noticed that the response time of the homepage, for uncached pages, jumped from ~250ms to about ~850ms.

    Here’s a screenshot of the response time monitoring graph from Uptime Robot – it’s easy to see when the plugin was activated this morning, and then deactivated.

    Thanks for your report, have you tried with smaller thumbnail size for related posts thumbnails? if possible please send me your page url where you are using our plugin, i will check this out.
