I run two websites using the Neve Theme. On one of the sites, in the ‘Customize’ tab, there is a ‘Related Posts’ section. On the other site, there is not. Both sites use the free version of the theme.

I actually don’t want to use the ‘Related Posts’ offered by the Neve Theme, but I can’t find a way to turn this off – my Posts automatically show related posts.

Q1: Is there a way to turn off Related Posts in the Neve Theme?

Q2: Any idea why it is showing on one site, but not the other?

    Thanks!

  • Hi @bryndavies1981,

    Thanks for choosing Neve!

The Related Posts section is a feature of Neve Pro that can be enabled or disabled in Customizer > Layout > Single Post > Post elements by clicking on the ?? icon. If enabled, it will generate a new tab in the Customizer. Given that this feature is available only in the Premium version, my guess is that on one site you have the Pro version of the theme and on the other one you use the free version. You can find a dedicated doc about the Single Post options here.

    Have a nice day!

Hi – thanks for your reply. I’ve triple checked, and I only have the free version of Neve on both sites. Any other ideas?

    Hi @bryndavies1981,

Kindly provide the link to your site/s where the Related Posts can be seen.

Hi – here are the links:

    https://gympump.com/creatine-rest-days/
This site does not have Neve Related Posts available and the related posts are via a plug-in.

    https://www.jobsearchbible.com/purpose-of-a-cover-letter/
This site DOES have Neve Related Posts (even though it is the free version of the Neve theme?) and they cannot be switched off. I would like to turn Neve Related Posts off and use a plug-in instead.

Appreciate any help you can provide!

    Hi @bryndavies1981!

I checked the source code of this page and the related posts are not coming from Neve, they are coming from another plugin, probably JetPack, given the names of the classes used. Disabling that feature from the plugin or deleting the block, in case they were added using a JetPack block in the editor should solve the issue.

    Have a nice day!
