Related Posts Automatically Hidden??

I am using this plugin because when I make a video post, I don’t need the featured image to appear right above or below the video because it’s redundant. The problem is even though it successfully hides the featured image, it also hides all of the thumbnail images in the “Related Posts” section of the page.

Why does this happen, and how can this be fixed so it only hides the featured image, and not the thumbnail images for the related posts section?
