Related Posts for new posts

    Hi Barry, when creating a new post does the plugin automatically create links to other posts? I have created a few posts with similar categories, tags and even the same title as another post but the Related Posts metabox always reports “No related posts found”.

    I saved the post as Draft, do I need to Publish before it will link the posts? Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks

    You are correct. Related posts are only linked when the post status is set to publish.

    Thanks Barry. A follow up question – if my client is a fussy-pot and manually links the posts at the Draft stage, will they be replaced with new posts when it is published?

    That should work. Please note that in the free version manually created links will be lost when you (re)run the installation wizard.

    I tested it and if you had manually linked posts while in Draft, the plugin will add more linked posts when you Publish.

    Thanks for a useful plugin Barry, I will get the Pro version if I ever need it ??
