Related posts not appearing on homepage

    Hi there,

    I’ve installed the related posts plugin and when looking at individual blog posts the related links appear beautifully (sort of… back to that in a minute) but they don’t appear when just scrolling through posts from the homepage.

    I have the show related posts in feed box in the settings but that doesn’t seem to have done it. Any ideas? Or is this not possible?

    As a bit of a secondary issue none of the thumbnails are displaying as my images. I don’t have any featured images set but rather than showing my first uploaded images as the tool suggests it shows random theme images.

    Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  • Hi Phil!

    At the moment showing related posts is only possible on Posts. We’ll see if we can do anything about that. That checkbox adds the articles to the RSS feed, not the actual index.

    We see the thumbnails are an issue yes. If you sit tight, I think we may fix this in the coming weeks as it is really a hassle for a lot of our users.

    I would be interested in this as well. I’ve placed the following within the loop, but nothing shows. This same code, however works on the single post page.

    I have the same issue on my wife’s blog that I’m helping her with.
    I to would love to have the ‘Related posts’ showing when visitors are just scrubbing through the front(home)page.

    Even though xdaseinx claims it’s not supported I can see that you have succeeded having the related posts on the homepage of https://www.cookquiltmakeandbake.com/. Very nice site btw ??

    Would you be willing to reveal how you achieved that?

    We found another plugin which does the job quite nicely called nrelate Related Content which you can find the info on / download here:
