I have another suggestion if you don’t mind. I think it would be nice to have the option to show other posts (most commented posts or random posts for example) in case of no related posts were found.

I have to draw the line someplace in terms of features. ?? For your request, it’s something that’s possible with a little custom PHP coding using the custom templating feature, so I have no plans on adding that.
