‘Related products’ does not seem to be working

Related products come from similar product categories and product tags, if you have school and year group and custom taxonomy or as product attributes then you’ll have to write custom code to create other related products sections or you can find hooks for related products and you can pass products ids as “post__in” param if there are any query options available in the hook.

Related products are dynamically pulled from the store, this process is based on the product’s shared tags and categories.

Since these products cannot be set manually, you can use tags and categories to help them get displayed.

@ihereira ok but since we have been more than 4k products so it is not possible to do one by one for each product. Can you suggest any plugin or any custom code in which we can achieve this?

One way to do this is updating tags and/or categories via the built-in product importer exporter – this way, you won’t have to go into each product to edit it one by one: https://woocommerce.com/document/product-csv-importer-exporter/

@maykato I have installed this plugin but it is not working as expected as it isn’t showing the same school in related products

Is there any other plugin you would recommend?
