related themes and password quesstion

I’m wondering if Twenty Ten theme (my current theme) and Twenty Eleven theme are related, as in parent/child themes??

Twenty Eleven seems like it might have a few more options for future customization. Am I right, or should I stick with what I have??

Also, can I change the password that was issued to me for the forums to something that would be easier for me to remember, OR do I have to stick with the issued password?

Any advice and ideas will be most appreciated!!
