Relationship to the Bulk Resize Media plugin?

  • BRM appears to be a copy, the author credits Imsanity on the description page. I’m not sure if functionality was added or it’s just a branding change. Perhaps the author wanted a piece of the massive cash cow that is Imsanity!

    There are quite a few plugins like this that do about the same thing, so some collaboration or merging would be nice. Nobody has quite pulled all the best practices together —

    * use the media settings screen rather than a separate one
    * do no compression if 100% is selected
    * warn the user if dimensions are selected that are smaller than the largest size to be generated as specified in Media Settings > Image Sizes
    * default option to convert non-progressive JPEG images to progressive
