Relative anchor links still not working

It’s an old issue that was posted here, but the bug hasn’t been fixed until now:
When using a relative internal anchor link (/name/#item) translatepress generates (/name/#item/) out of it and so the link is broken. Using absolute links (https://domain.com/name/#item) everything is working as expected.
It would be nice if that could be fixed …
Another thing: I recognized that it’s not possible to translate the anchor part of the link (#item) … why??
