relative-path images not found

Hello,
I noticed visitors get 404 errors on my website because relative path images could not be found.
For example, on the css the image path is: url(../img/opacity-10.png)
The file is there, I checked. but on my website it creates 404 errors. It tries to load the image incorrectly, like
https://example.com/img/opacity-10.png
https://example.com/category/img/opacity-10.pngHow can I fix this?
