Rel="author" not being removed from homepage

  • WordPress version: 3.4.1
    WordPress SEO version: 1.3.4.3

    I changed the author highlighting option to “don’t show” in the Homepage and Front page section of the Titles and Metas settings.

    I expected the rel=”author” link to be removed from my blog home page and my other pages (not posts).

    However, the link persists and my authorship is showing up in search results for my homepage, which is not a blog post with an author.. it’s a static page.

    How can I ensure that this link is removed from all of my pages and just stays on my posts?
