rel=”canonical” setting?

    Great plugin!
    So far it has met all of our needs, except for a rel=”canonical” tag.
    Maybe I am missing a setting, but I do not see any way to set a rel=”canonical” tag into the header of any syndicated posts. I need this so that we reference back the original source. Is this possible from within your plugin?
    Or is there another workaround so that I do not have any issues with duplicate content?

    Thanks for implementing this so quickly, it is exactly what we needed.
    However I have an additional question:
    How do you remove the link back to the original source? I do not want to see the links and the text that go to the original blog post and website.
    Is there a way to remove that? I do not see an option in the settings.
    Maybe I am missing something?

    No, there is no option to remove the link to the source. You can add the link, but not remove it.

    It is there by default, I would like to remove it.
    This is pulling from company-owned sources. We are just aggregating the content, but do not want to link back to the source. That is why we wanted the canonical tag, to avoid any negative SEO. How can I hide the footer and the links back to the original blog and blog post?

    We figured it out.
    It was an RSS setting in the Yoast plugin that was creating the footer text.
    All good now. We will hopefully be going live soon.
