    Howdy folks!

We’re happy to announce that The Events Calendar 4.3.3 officially released just moments ago. This is a maintenance release, which is a fancy way of saying we squashed a lot of bugs, including some high priority ones we know many of you will appreciate.

So, what’s new in this release? Glad you asked, because I was getting to the change log:

    • Feature — Added Tribe Extension class and loader to make small add-ons easier to build.
    • Fix — Ordering of events on Month View days is working as expected again.
    • Fix — Enable ampersand character in mobile Month View titles (thanks @kate for the report of this).
    • Fix — Prevent erroneous notices for Event Aggregator license checking.
    • Fix — Mismatched text domains are resolved; important for translations (props to @hans).
    • Fix — Sticky on Month View is working as expect again.
    • Fix — Prevent HTTPS websites from attempting to load plugin assets over HTTP.
    • Fix — On WP_Query we no longer overwrite custom post__not_in params.

Next up, we’re making progress on the next major feature release for The Events Calendar and can’t wait to get that out to you. In the meantime, please update safely as you would with any other WordPress, theme or plugin update and be sure to let us know if you run into any other issues. We have a Known Issues page for you to reference so you can see what’s already on our radar for a fix.

    Happy calendaring, everyone!

Getting a JS console error after updating.

    /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/resources/js/events-admin.js line 147 refers to a non-existent function bumpdown.

As a consequence when setting up an event, none of the JS events fire.

Also having an issue since updating to this new version. On WP Admin side calendar popup no longer comes up, nor the ability to add a new venue inline while making a new event. Downgraded to previous version from a backup and this problem went away. May be caused from what @eastdevonalliance was saying. Did not check my error console before downgrading.

Getting same bumpdown console error message as first comment and can’t set recurring events.

Since upgrade to 4.3.3 the event editor no longer displays my editor buttons. No other upgrades or changes happened at this time, just the Events Calendar upgrade to 4.3.3.

Editor buttons still show up in my other pages, just the Events Calendar is failing to show them now.

    Error description:
    __ id: wp-content-editor-tools
    __ class: wp-editor-tools
    __ Uncaught TypeError: $(…).bumpdown is not a function(…)
