Relevanssi and Pretty Links compatibility issue

    Hi!

    Looks like there is some compatibility problem with Relevanssi and Pretty Links.

    When Relevanssi is active the search feature in Pretty Links doesn’t work (for any given search it doesn′t throw any results at all).

    When I deactivate Relevanssi though, the search feature in Pretty Links works.

    I tried deactivating and reinstalling both plugins but Pretty Links search feature still not working which is very annoying

    Any idea on what’s going on and how to fix it?

    The Pretty Links are posts. If you check the “Use Relevanssi for admin searches” option in Relevanssi searching settings, Relevanssi takes over all admin searches. If you haven’t made Relevanssi index the pretty-links post type (which you most certainly don’t want to), the admin search for Pretty Links won’t work.

    I’ll fix this in the next version, but meanwhile you can just disable Relevanssi in admin searches. That’s an option I don’t recommend in the first place, it’s generally better not to use Relevanssi in admin, it isn’t quite as reliable as I’d like it to be. For admin searching, it’s better to disable that option and instead use the Dashboard > Admin search, which is a much better search.
