I cant get any outpout from Relevanssi. I can’t see that Relevansi is wisible in the Widget area. I did build an index that seemed to work on the admin page but it does not link in for the common user. I tried the trick of deactivating and activating Relevansi. The next suggested step of hacking in the PhP code does not appeal to me. It is likely to be overwritten at the next update.

Relevanssi doesn’t have any widgets to appear in the widget area. Just use the default search widget from WP or whatever your theme has. If you do a search, what do you get? Default WP search results or nothing?

Can you post the theme search results template to a pastebin somewhere, so I can take a look at it?

The output from Search remains exactly the same whether I have Relevanssi installed or not. Installing and activating Relevanssi does not make any difference for the normal user of the Search function. Please have a look at: https://science-network.tv/ (Relevanssi activated and an index is built). Try doing a search for “Einstein”. The output from Search shows three pages. The whole pages are shown in the output. This is how WP standard search behaved on this theme (Mantra) before installing Relevanssi. To me it seems that Relevanssi does not replace the default WP search. Any idea?

I can mention that the standard WP search does not have any settings to alter the output. (At least I haven’t found any way to alter it).

The theme has no settings at all for the results. It just shows the complete pages as results (does not look so nice). I found another Search plugin that works fine so I will try that for a while instead.
