Relevanssi Search Time Out

  • Using relevanssi on a site with 2400 posts. Searches with small search result go through fine, search with “big” results time out after 30 seconds. Definitely not going to modify php.ini to more than 30 seconds.
    I’ve tried limiting the search results to 10 results, still times out!
    Its on a private server at the moment.
