Relevanssi WooCommerce . won't search post. only products

i’m using relevanssi on my woocommerce.
im trying to search for posts + products. but right now only products shows up.
i’ve ticked “posts” and “products” under indexing options with some other custom fields im using.
and i’ve indexed and rebuilt the index a couple of times. but it still returns no “Posts” results.
could it have anything to do with WooCommerce jacking the search function?
(all search has “post_type=product” in the url.)
