FWI, I’m getting this error from Relevanssi 3.5.

Hi Mikko,

Relevanssi isn’t supposed to support term_taxonomy_id, because according to WordPress documentation, that’s not an option. Legal values are term_id, name and slug.

I believe that term_taxonomy_id is supported in tax queries since WP 3.5 (this is what I have in my notes). See https://core.trac.www.ads-software.com/browser/tags/4.3.1/src/wp-includes/taxonomy.php#L755. I use this possibility for 2 years in Polylang.

However you are right that it was not mentioned in the codex. I updated it.

Ok, in that case I will add the term_taxonomy_id support to Relevanssi. Goes to show how much you can trust the codex =)

That seems to work. A bit of slow queries at first but after rebuilding it seems to be working. When can we expect a production update?

Ah, ok, I thought I fixed that, but actually my fix caused the error to come up. I had a bit of confusion whether the parameter is called “term_tax_id” or “term_taxonomy_id”. 3.5.2 should fix this for good.
