    Hi Barry
With the plug in not being supported, how large a risk is it to continue using the rsvp part of the plugin. Will it stop after some future WordPress upgrade without warning?

I also use the Modern Tribe tickets plus. I believe the two Rsvp processes are quite different.I was disappointed your approach was not included. I tried adding this as a feature in Modern tribe but they dismissed it.

Your process is great for clubs and organisations to get an idea of who will or will not be at an event. No tickets just a list of attendees by the click of a button

Who wants to receive a ticket to attend a weekly meeting!

    Anyway, thanks for your approach
    Regards
    Michael

    Thanks Michael!

It is of course hard to predict these things reliably, but even so I think the risk of a future WP update (or a future TEC update) breaking the RSVP functionality provided by Event Rocket is pretty low, at least in the near term.

On the WP side the post meta API is stable and they’ve always been committed to backward compatibility. On the TEC side, I don’t imagine the range of frontend views and hooks changing any time soon – ditto for the event editor environment.

All in all, I wouldn’t be hugely concerned at this time ??
