• According to web.dev, Links to cross-origin destinations are unsafe. Adding rel=”noopener” or rel=”noreferrer” to your target=”_blank” links avoids these issues.

    When I checked my url I found pinterest button, has no rel=”noopener” or rel=”noreferrer” that’s why I found “Links to cross-origin destinations are unsafe” while analysing my website on web.dev on all recipe pages.

    You’d use noreferrer when linking to a site that could be unsafe. Pinterest is obviously a big name that is considered safe, so | don’t really see a need for that here.

    Automated tools like that can pick up on these kind of errors, of course.
