Reload Form After Submission

  • Hello,

    I am having a problem when trying to fill out a form more than once.. I want to be able to submit another form after a form has been submitted…

    My problem is that a single user is expected to submit as many forms as they want, but after submitting one, maybe 2 or 3 at the most, when they go to the page where the form is located, the form wont be available, what users are getting is the thank you message (which by the way I have set it up to load on a totally different page)

    After refreshing the page, the form wont still load. Only after a hard reset of the page the form will load, but then again my usual users wont do that.

    Is there a way I can stop the thank you message from loading on my form page? Or to force the form to load?

    Usually, the best way to do this is to place a link back to the signup form in the “thanks” message. The link should be a complete URL, that will fully refresh the page in most browsers. If they try using the “back” button, it won’t work reliably at all.

    Unfortunately, I tried that but with no luck. It still displays the thank you message. Is there a way to stop the thank you message completely from displaying anywhere?

    Or any other idea that might help?

    If it’s not working, it probably due to some kind of caching, either page caching or browser caching.

    You can always define a blank thank you message, but you really should put the link to the signup form in there so you users can go back and do another one. Perhaps it will work if you put the thanks shortcode on another page (and configure it to go there after submitting the form).

    It works in my tests here either way.
