relocating wp app from subfolder to root

Assuming your sub-folder is called ‘wordpress’
1. In Options->General, delete the ‘/wordpress’ off the end of your Blog address (URL)
2. Put this index.php in your web-root folder

/* Short and sweet */
define('WP_USE_THEMES', true);
require('./wordpress/wp-blog-header.php');
?>

3. Update Permalink Structure if necessary
