Rems-px for Origin?

    I am learning more about the benefits of using Rems (with px as fallback for IE8). I wonder if Origin, or a fork of Origin, might eventually move to Rems-px from the current use of ems. From my research thus far, Rems seem far easier to work with, while retaining the size-responsiveness of Ems.
