"Remember Me" Checkbox

    Hi, All,

    Just a trivial matter: what exactly is the utility of that “remember me” checkbox on the WordPress website login screen?? I never seem to get “remembered” after a certain period of time anyway….

    I have Sean Fisher’s excellent “Lockdown WP Admin” plugin installed; is this making WordPress not “remember” me?

  • Maybe but it could be a browser issue, clearing the cache or cookies.

    Hmmm, well, it’s like that on all the different computers I use, at work or my own at home — no matter the browser, too…do you mean to say that the WordPress login screen’s “remember me” check-box actually works for you??
