remote files (insert url) not working

even though the image shows up in the media pop up window preview when attmepting to add the url, inspecting the on the browser console shows a 404 error at the following url:
https://networkdomain.com/subdomain/subblog/wp-json/oembed/1.0/proxy?url=https%3A%2F%2Fremotedomain.com%2Fcontent%2Fuploads%2F2020%2F02%2F15063231%2Fjulie_avatar.jpg

Hope that helps, if i could get it working with remote urls, this would be perfect!

Hi @jiggaman, this plugin has not been tested on multisite network.
I will work on it.
