removal of menu

You can disable the main navigation menu from Appearance > Menus > Menu Settings.
To add content to your homepage you can set your front page as a static page from Settings > Reading and select your home page. Then enable Page Content in the homepage layout manager from Theme Options > Home Layout.

hi finally still having an issue with the home page not allowing me to as extra dialogue. I have the header sorted, the slider was already installed and the fotter is working but what I cannot do is insert txt between the slider and the footer can you help please
