I’m trying to quickly edit many links (2,502 in total) on my website. however, the bulk editor is giving an error (see image below)

I select the links I want to edit, however the system is “requiring” me to enter a term in the search field.

Is there any way for me to just select the links and indicate the term I want to replace?

    tks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @zedomingues

I hope you are doing well today.

I’m afraid this will be not possible as whole action require to type string which needs to be replaced.

Based on your screenshot and information it seems you’re trying to change 2500 different URLs to one. Example:

    domain.com/image1.jpg
    domain.com/image2.jpg

    domain.com/image2500.jpg

Also it should be taken into account that after domain name path to each image folder could be different so there is no easy rule to change that.

This could be out of scope of support, but I asked out SLS Team to review your case. We will post an update here as soon as more information is available.

    Kind Regards,
    Kris

Thanks for the quick response, @wpmudevsupport13

It would be very interesting if the development team could create this form of mass editing.

I will edit the links manually.

    Best Regards

    Hi @zedomingues

    Thank you for response!

Yes, I agree it would be very handy to have such feature. Apparently our Second Line Support Team will not be able to provide custom solution for it for now as it turns out to require too much/complex code.

But there is a chance it may instead possibly be added as new feature to the plugin in future. I’d rather not make promises yet (and I’m not able to give ETA) but it’s something that’ll be considered.

    Kind regards,
    Adam

    Hi @zedomingues

Since there can’t be custom workaround provided currently, I’m marking this topic as resolved.

As mentioned, it is something that may possibly be implemented in plugin in the future but I don’t have confirmation and ETA.

If you have other questions or experience other issues with our plugin(s), please don’t hesitate to start new topics and we’ll do our best to assist you there.

    Kind regards,
    Adam
