    Hi,

I am getting a sitemap of a plugin(mailmunch_page-sitemap.xml) on my sitemap_index.xml page. On Clicking on it, there are no URLs present, how can I remove the sitemap from my main sitemap, I couldn’t find any options to disable it in Yoast SEO dashboard.

It is also causing an error in my GSC sitemap.

    Hi @qph9697 ,

It’s very odd for a blank sitemap to show up in the sitemap index. Have you tried disabling and re-enabling XML sitemap (SEO > General > Features > XML sitemaps)?

Have you tried clearing your site cache and see if it updates the sitemap?

If the issue persists, try resetting your permalink settings by going to Settings > Permalinks > Change Changes (without actually changing anything).

If this is a Custom Post Type, go to SEO > Search Appearance > Content Types > Disable option Show Mailmunch in search results?.

Let us know how it goes.

Hi, thank you for your quick response.

If this is a Custom Post Type, go to SEO > Search Appearance > Content Types > Disable option Show Mailmunch in search results?.

I disabled and not it’s gone.

    Thank You again.

    Hi @qph9697 ,

We checked your sitemap index and indeed the extra sitemap is no longer showing.

    Thanks for the update!
