Remove album name slug

Is there a way to remove album name slug ?
I know that you can add a custom slug instead of “nggallery” but it’s not what I mean.
for example, from this:
https://www.sitedomain.eu/page1/nggallery/albumname/galleryname/
to this:
https://www.sitedomain.eu/page1/nggallery/galleryname/
