    Hi.

I would like to remove everything from my sidebars. And put in my own pictures and so on.
But when I try to I either get:

    – Syntax error.

    – Or everything gets messed up….

Any tips to how I can remove all my widgets from my sidebar, then edit it like I want to ?? ?

  • Do you use widgets? or use manual editing?

If you use widget, then what you have to do is deleting all widgets in the sidebar. If your WordPress version does not support widget, I recommend you to upgrade to the most current version of WordPress.

If you use manual editing, there’s a big chance to get syntax error or messed up. You should understand PHP code, HTML, and CSS to be enable to edit sidebar manually and correctly.

    Thanks for answer! ??
I did mangage to get my widgets away from the sidebars.
Yes I would now like to edit it manauly. My problem now is:

    – When I write in my left sidebar, everythin is written at the bottom of the sidebar.
And in my right one, everything is written in the top of the sidebar.

    Got any tips?

I would like to write in the top of my sidebars, not the bottom ??

What is the URL of your blog? Let me see the problem from here.

BTW, I’d prefer using widget so that when I change theme, it become easier for me to reinstall widgets instead of coding it manually. But, then again, it’s up to you to choose manual editing than widgets.
