Remove Animation from Theme

I am helping this team with content changes on this website because their website administrator is no longer answering their calls. On the Home page, there is a “brick” animation that pops on the screen that they do not like and they just want to use a basic black, white or gray background. I can’t figure out where to turn it off. This “brick” section is on other pages as well, but I am not sure if it is part of the Salient theme or if it can just be turned off. If it can’t, is it possible to change the theme without losing all the content?
