Remove Archive word from my Page Title shows in Google Chrome Tab

Thanks for reaching out about your blog page. So I understand that there is an unwanted string ‘archive’ that appears in the title of the blog archive page. Can you share a screenshot of what you have in WordPress > SEO > Search Appearance > Content Types > Post?

Furthermore, you mentioned you do not have the Yoast SEO metabox in the template page editor. Can you share what plugin creates this template page so I can troubleshoot better?

It seems your website has custom post-type Taxonomies like Programmes, Success Story, Trainers, Testimonial. Could you please check by going to SEO > Search Appearance > Taxonomies and see if the Archives text exists so you can remove it?

Hi, I have removed all the Archives words in taxonomy, but it still appear in the browser tab. Here’s the screenshot for your reference.

As per this screenshot https://prnt.sc/24cm7lf you had provided, we expect the Taxonomy ‘Archives’ text you’ve removed from the SEO > Search Appearance > Taxonomies should reflect on the pages like https://staging.moveprivatefitness.com/testimonial/. You mentioned you’ve removed the ‘Archives’ text but the issue still persists.

There are some reasons why the SEO title doesn’t appear as intended for example if your current theme does not declare?title-tag?support. Or, if your custom taxonomies template does not support the SEO title, such issue may occur. Please refer to the following kb article and follow the corresponding fixes provided.

I wanted to ask why there is no SEO setting appear in my template page even I have activate the on button as shown in the following screenshot?

Without the SEO setting I cannot change the archive template meta title & meta description.

If you’ve set the SEO settings to ‘on’ for the elementor_library templates, we would expect that the Yoast SEO meta box would appear when editing that specific content type.

When editing that specific page, ?please check if Yoast SEO is ticked in Screen Options on the upper right-hand side.
