Maybe it is orverwritten by another css. Please try add !important tag as `follows:
.single_metainfo .fa-user,
.single_metainfo .vcard .author .post-author,
.single_metainfo .catag_list,
.single_metainfo .fa-th-list{
display:none!important;
}`

Its not working becuase you added this: ` in your custom css field. Please remove it and the css should work fine.
