Remove author and date from posts

  • Contact the theme developer for help in locating which theme template file you would need to edit to remove the code that generates that data. Also consider doing this in a child theme so that your changes don’t get overwritten in a theme update.

    Ok, thanks. I have tried and am waiting (impatiently) for an answer but it’s been many days now. Will keep trying.

    Yeah we can’t support themes that were not downloaded from www.ads-software.com/themes – kind of hard to debug WordPress code we don’t all have access to!

    If you’re okay with PHP coding, I’d suggest installing the helpful information plugin which can tell you which theme file is generating the particular page. You can then use that information to create a child theme and create your own template file that overrides the parent theme’s template file to get rid of that information.
