Remove Author & Categories Links

On single posts, I want to remove the author and category links under the post content.

Yes I know, that’s a bit of coding, but I can do it all, with a few hints. I think it’s in the template-tags.php file, right? Is it anywhere else that I would have to change it? Can I just do a not display code somewhere?

And I’d like to move the date and edit link to just under the post title instead of under the content.
