Remove author from share

Another question would be: we have set the default image for share but on some pages it doesn’t apply, what could we do for pages that don’t have a representative image set to default?

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support.

This is something that happens only with Discord, and we do not have an option to disable this from the settings.

If you share links to any other Social platform, the link preview will not have the author info but on Discord, you will see the author.

However, you can try the filter in this thread and see if that fixes the issue:

For the global representative image question do we have a solution to force that image when it is not set?

We have a filter that allows developers to modify the images of the OpenGraph metadata: https://rankmath.com/kb/filters-hooks-api-developer/#change-opengraph-image

You could try forcing the image you want via that filter to the Facebook network, which is what controls the OpenGraph metadata in our plugin.
