remove banner on pages other than the front page

Hi!

I’ve been struggling to find a solution to this. I want a static front page with a banner and a second page without a banner (with the functioning timeline and posts, i.e. the default template).

Tired to make a custom page without the header but then something goes wrong with the timeline.
