Remove Blank Space above Slider?

At the top of my site, underneath the Header Links, there’s a space for a Content Title and Sub-Title. If you leave that blank, a large space for the content remains there. I was wondering if there was a way to move the slider up to that part and to just leave a little padding between the Header Links bar and the top of the Slider (by the way, I have the Slider controls moved, so they don’t appear above the slider).

Also, even if the Content Title and Sub-Title are set, there’s still a good sized space between that and the top of the Slider. I don’t mind having the Content Title and Sub-Title set, but the blank space above the Slider is what’s getting me.

Any possible solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
