• I am so frustrated by the constant appearance of the words ‘blog archive’ in the search title of every one of my blog posts no matter how old or recent. I have removed any reference to ‘archive’ in Yoast Search Appearance, Taxonomies and Archives, to no avail. Even when this post was in draft form it appeared as a blog archive. I have a screenshot but am unable to add it here.

Would appreciate any advice on how to get rid of this.

  • Hello @jowill

After visiting your site and searched on the blog page, I didn’t see any Archive Page and archive text on the search result.

Here’s what I could see. Refer to this screenshot.

Could you please share some more details so that we can take a look? If you could provide us a screenshot or screencast including the issue, that would be great to provide you the best solution.

Let us know how everything works on your end. Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Regards

Thank you so much for your response Riad. Unbelievably, the word archive seems to have removed itself from the post I referenced and a number of others. But it still lingers in some. I can’t seem to attach a screenshot here. It makes me wonder if this is just a transitional stage, and eventually all references to ‘archive’ are being gradually removed.

    Hello @jowill

    That’s strange!

We might want to take a closer look, if the issue persists can you reach out to us through our Support Portal?

Looking forward to hearing from you!

    Regards,
    Riad
