thank you very much for the idea.
This kind of thing is too specific. Few users will need it. All other users would have more weight for something they will not use.
I also don’t like to remove a class of the body via JS after the page is loaded. If someone uses that class for custom CSS and you remove it with a script that runs in the footer, you will see changes in the style during the page loading.
I think it’s better to add a few lines of custom code for people who need it.
If it was at 0 cost in terms of weight, it was not a problem, but due to the structure of FDP, this would cost a little in terms of weight. FDP loads no scripts and no CSS in the frontend. This feature would mean from 0 scripts to a couple of lines of JS. So I prefer to don’t add this feature.
Maybe you can suggest the author of this plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/add-custom-body-class/ add an option to remove body classes instead of only add them.
I think it’s more territory of that plugin.
