remove cagtegory from being excluded in AMP not working

Hello,

I had categories setup to be excluded from AMP, removed them and they still redirect, even on new posts, to the non-amp version. View source code I can see the /amp/ link is now generated but they redirect to the non-amp version.

• flushed cache
• resaved permalinks a number of times after each flush as well
• checked any other CDN flushes and did that, still redirecting
• re-saved the setting a number of times with no categories excluded from amp

No luck, still redirects and yes I also cleared my browser cache and tried ingocnito, still no louck and I sumitted a ticket on AMPforWP.com as I have a paid version and no response after more than a day so really need some help here.
